About Me
For more tha 25 years, Jay Hauser has been the expert you want on your team when things get complicated. As an accomplished Information Architecture, Data Governance, and Technical Writing specialist, Jay has a unique gift: he transforms the most complex, highly technical jargon—from intricate cloud architecture to detailed hardware specs—into information that's actually clear and accessible to everyone.
Jay is, at heart, a compassionate editor and strategist. He doesn't just check grammar; he helps writers feel safe and appreciated, seeing his role as a "force multiplier" that elevates good work to great. He's spent his career building the necessary systems—like scalable editorial frameworks, intelligent metadata, and SEO strategies—to make sure the right people find the right content at the right time.
His experience spans some of the world's most dynamic companies. As a Technical Editor at Google Cloud and a Senior Technical Writer at Facebook, he's managed content at massive scale. At Amazon.com , he even designed and led a global program to empower hundreds of IT engineers to become content contributors, building a successful framework for scalable information governance.
Most recently, Jay has been focused on the frontier of AI Safety and Prompt Engineering, where he applies his critical eye to test and improve the integrity of AI systems. This thoughtful approach extends to his leadership style: he believes most workplace conflict is simply a sign of a broken process, so he prefers to fix the system rather than point fingers. Jay’s foundation is built on a Master of Arts in English from Carnegie Mellon University.
