Editing and Editorial Work
From draft to done
The first two samples are Google Cloud architecture docs I edited from engineer-authored drafts. The last two samples show my developmental editing chops. The Open Compute Project specification is now an industry standard. The pitch edit got a program off the ground after two rejections.
Selected Work
These samples come from my time at Google, Amazon, and Facebook. They're organized by the type of work rather than by the employer. You're probably here because you need something specific. Follow the headings and enjoy yourself.

Open Rack Standard V0.9
Global IT – Clent Access Experience Program Pitch
Technical Documentation
Writing for engineers and technicians
The first two samples are infrastructure reference docs I wrote for networking engineers at Amazon and data center technicians at Facebook. The last two show my range: a self-help article written for non-technical Amazonians, and a style guide built to standardize content across a global organization.

Program Management Writing
Getting 10,000 people on the same page
The first sample is a change management plan written to move a global IT organization through a major transition. The second trained Amazon's IT support staff to write content that continues to save the company millions in productivity costs.
